This Legal Disclaimer and Privacy Notice applies to your use of the Relyon Softech Limited website (www.relyonsoft.com) and all associated services. It has been updated to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, notified by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on 13 November 2025.

Relyon Softech Ltd (‘Relyon’, ‘we’, ‘our’, or ‘us’) maintains this website for your personal and professional use. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use without limitation or qualification.

Personal Data Collection and Processing (DPDP Act, 2023)

In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025, this section describes how Relyon, acting as a Data Fiduciary, collects, processes, stores, and protects your personal data.

Your Rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you (as a Data Principal) have the following rights with respect to your personal data processed by Relyon:

Right to Information

You have the right to obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and information about the processing activities we undertake on your data.

Right to Correction and Erasure

You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data, or erase personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or where consent has been withdrawn.

Right to Withdraw Consent

You may withdraw your consent for processing at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal. Upon withdrawal, we will cease processing and erase your data, subject to any overriding legal obligations.

Right to Grievance Redressal

You have the right to lodge a grievance with our designated Grievance Officer. If your grievance is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Right to Nominate

You may nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

Data Retention and Security

Retention Period

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Once data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymise it securely. In accordance with the DPDP Rules, 2025, we maintain data retention logs for a minimum of one year to support breach detection and investigation.

Security Measures

Relyon has implemented reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including:

  • Encryption, obfuscation, and masking of personal data in transit and at rest
  • Access controls and access log reviews
  • Data backups to ensure continuity of processing
  • Contractual safeguards with third-party data processors

Personal Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach, Relyon will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals as required under the DPDP Act, irrespective of the severity of the breach. Notifications will be made without undue delay and will include the nature of the breach, data affected, and remedial action taken.

Children's Data

Our website and services are not directed at children below the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors without verifiable parental or guardian consent, as required under the DPDP Act, 2023. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor without proper consent, please contact us immediately so that we may take appropriate action.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

Your personal data is primarily processed and stored within India. In the event that personal data is transferred outside India, such transfers will be made only to countries or territories notified by the Central Government as permissible under the DPDP Act, 2023, and subject to appropriate contractual safeguards.

Data Protection Board of India

If you are dissatisfied with how we have handled your personal data or a grievance, you have the right to approach the Data Protection Board of India, established under Section 18 of the DPDP Act, 2023. The Board has the authority to adjudicate disputes between Data Principals and Data Fiduciaries.
