These Terms of Use (‘Terms’ or ‘TOU’) govern your access to and use of the Relyon Softech Ltd website (www.relyonsoft.com) and all related online services. They have been updated to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and DPDP Rules, 2025, and should be read together with our Legal Disclaimer & Privacy Notice and Refund Policy, all available on this website.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Relyon Softech Ltd website (‘Site’ or ‘Website’) or any of its associated online services, you (‘User’) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use without limitation or qualification. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.
These Terms incorporate by reference all supplemental terms, policies, and guidelines published on this Site, including our Legal Disclaimer & Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy. In the event of a conflict, these Terms prevail unless a supplemental policy expressly states otherwise. Your right to use this Site is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for ensuring that all use of your account complies with these Terms. Relyon reserves the right to change or discontinue any aspect or feature of the Site, including content, availability, and access requirements, at any time.

Description of Services

Through this Website, Relyon provides Users with access to software product information, download areas, support resources, communication forums, training materials, and related content (collectively, ‘Services’). The Services include Relyon’s Saral product suite across Tax & e-Filing, HRM & Payroll, and Accounting categories.
All Services, including updates, new features, and additions, are subject to these Terms. Relyon may introduce new services or discontinue existing ones at its sole discretion without prior notice.

User Equipment and Access

You are solely responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and paying for all hardware, software, telecommunications, internet connectivity, and other equipment required to access and use the Site. Relyon does not warrant compatibility with any specific device, browser, or network configuration.

User Conduct

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
  • Post, transmit, or distribute any material that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, Trojan horses, or any other harmful code
  • Harvest or collect personal data or contact information of other users without consent
  • Use the Site to advertise or solicit commercial services without Relyon’s prior written approval
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying the Site
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Site, server, or network connected to the Site
  • Violate any applicable Indian or international law or regulation
The Site, including all content, software, and materials, is protected under Indian copyright law. Relyon owns copyright in the selection, coordination, and enhancement of all original content. You may not modify, publish, transmit, sell, create derivative works from, or exploit any content, in whole or in part, without Relyon’s prior written permission. The foregoing conduct provisions are for the benefit of Relyon, its subsidiaries, affiliates, third-party content providers, and licensors, each of whom may enforce these provisions directly.

Use of Communication Services

Certain areas of the Site may include communication features such as contact forms, support portals, feedback channels, or community tools (collectively, ‘Communication Services’). When using Communication Services, you agree not to:

  • Engage in spamming, chain messaging, pyramid schemes, or any unsolicited bulk communication
  • Defame, harass, stalk, or threaten other users or third parties
  • Post or upload content that is profane, indecent, or violates applicable law
  • Falsify or delete attribution notices, copyright legends, or other proprietary designations
  • Violate any code of conduct applicable to a specific Communication Service
  • Collect or harvest information about other users, including email addresses or personal data, without their consent

Relyon reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor Communication Services. Relyon may remove content, restrict access, or terminate your access to Communication Services at any time, without notice, for any reason.
Relyon is a distributor, not a publisher, of third-party content on Communication Services. Relyon does not endorse the views, opinions, or advice of third-party contributors and accepts no liability for such content.

User Account, Password, and Security

Where access to Services requires registration, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information as prompted. You are entirely responsible for:
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying Relyon immediately of any unauthorised access to your account or any other security breach

Relyon will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account. You may not use another user’s account without that user’s express permission. Relyon reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

In accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023, account registration data will be collected and processed only for the purposes of providing access to Services and managing your user relationship with Relyon. Please refer to our Legal Disclaimer & Privacy Notice for full details.

  • Approach the Data Protection Board of India if your grievance remains unresolved
  • Nominate another person to exercise your data rights in the event of death or incapacity

Consent and Withdrawal

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us at legal@relyonsoft.com. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. We will action withdrawal requests promptly and delete or anonymise your data where required.

Children's Data

Our Site is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors without verifiable parental or guardian consent. If you believe a minor has submitted data without proper consent, please contact us immediately.

Data Security

Relyon applies reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data, including encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required by law.

Software Available on This Site

Any software made available for download through the Services (‘Software’) is the copyrighted work of Relyon Softech Ltd. Use of the Software is governed by the applicable End User Licence Agreement (‘EULA’) accompanying the Software. By installing or using the Software, you agree to the terms of that EULA.
The Software is provided solely for use by authorised end users. Reproduction, redistribution, reverse engineering, or decompilation of the Software in a manner not expressly permitted by the EULA is prohibited by law and may result in civil and criminal penalties.

Relyon disclaims all implied warranties in relation to downloadable Software, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Relyon may make available tools and utilities for your convenience. Relyon makes no assurances regarding the accuracy of results produced by such tools. Please respect the intellectual property rights of others when using any tools or utilities available on the Site.

Documents Available on this Site

Permission to use documents such as white papers, press releases, datasheets, and FAQs from this Site is granted, subject to the following conditions:
  • The Relyon copyright notice appears on all copies
  • Use is for informational, non-commercial, or personal purposes only
  • No modifications are made to the document
  • Documents are not posted on network systems or broadcast in any media without prior written consent
Accredited educational institutions may reproduce documents for classroom distribution. Distribution outside the classroom requires Relyon’s express written permission. All documents are provided ‘as is’ without any warranty. Relyon and its suppliers disclaim all warranties regarding the suitability, accuracy, or completeness of such documents. Relyon is not liable for any damages arising from the use of or reliance on these documents.

Materials and Submissions

Relyon does not claim ownership of materials you submit, upload, or post to the Site, including feedback, suggestions, form submissions, images, or other content (‘Submissions’). By making a Submission, you grant Relyon a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute that Submission in connection with the operation of our Services.

You warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to make the Submission, and that the Submission does not infringe any third-party rights. You acknowledge that no compensation will be paid for use of your Submissions, and that Relyon may remove any Submission at its sole discretion.

Where Submissions include images or photographs, you additionally represent that each depicted person has consented to the use of their likeness as described in these Terms.

Relyon does not accept or consider unsolicited creative ideas, product concepts, or marketing suggestions. Any such materials sent to Relyon will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary, and Relyon shall have no obligation to you with respect to such submissions.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience, analyse traffic, and personalise content. Strictly necessary cookies operate without requiring your consent. For non-essential cookies (analytical or marketing), we request your prior consent in accordance with applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability

  • Relyon does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
  • Relyon makes no warranty as to the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content or information on the Site
Relyon and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content, including loss of data, revenue, or profits. Relyon is not liable for the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of other users or third parties. The risk of harm from such conduct rests entirely with the user.
Force Majeure: Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, civil unrest, embargoes, fire, floods, telecommunications or network failures, or failures of third-party service providers. The affected party must notify the other party within fifteen (15) days of the occurrence. Performance obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.

Monitoring

Relyon has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor content posted to the Site, including in communication or forum areas, to ensure compliance with these Terms, applicable law, or regulatory requirements. Relyon may edit, refuse to post, or remove any material in its sole discretion, and may disclose information where required by law, court order, or government request.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Relyon Softech Ltd, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your Submissions, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

Either Relyon or you may terminate your access to the Site or these Terms at any time. Relyon may immediately suspend or terminate your account or access if it reasonably determines that you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or engaged in conduct harmful to Relyon or its users.
Termination will not affect any rights or obligations accrued prior to the date of termination. Clauses relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination.
Where termination involves the cessation of data processing, Relyon will handle your personal data in accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023, and our Privacy Notice.

Intellectual Property and Trademarks

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, software, logos, Saral product names, and related materials, is the intellectual property of Relyon Softech Ltd or is used with permission. It is protected under Indian and international copyright and trademark law.
The Relyon name, logo, and Saral product marks are registered trademarks of Relyon Softech Ltd. They may not be used without prior written consent. Other trademarks or brand names appearing on the Site belong to their respective owners.
Any rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Relyon.

Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and General Provisions

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, in particular the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and applicable rules framed thereunder. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
These Terms, together with our Legal Disclaimer & Privacy Notice and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Relyon with respect to your use of the Site, and supersede all prior written or oral agreements on the same subject matter. No waiver by Relyon of any breach or default under these Terms shall be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach or default. Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, it shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
